U.S. FDA Releases Food Traceability Rule Facts Sheets

The Food Traceability Rule is part of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (US FDA) Food Safety Modernization Act's (FSMA) guidelines for the safe manufacture, processing, packing, and holding of food. The US FDA released two fact sheets on the FSMA Traceability Rule coverage and exemptions for fruit and vegetable farms. One fact describes the coverage and exemptions for produce farms and the other provides information about the requirements for recordkeeping under the FSMA Traceability Rule.
