Produce Safety Alliance Grower Training (PSAGT) course is a US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved educational course that meets the training requirement (21CFR Part112.22(c)) in the US Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) Standards for Growing, Harvesting, Packing, and Holding Produce for Human Consumption (also known as "Produce Safety Rule"). The course provides trainees with a basic understanding of microorganisms and microbial risks relevant to produce safety and actions to plan to meet requirements of FSMA Produce Safety Rule.
