Virginia Tech is hosting a CONTACT webinar led by professionals Natalie Dyenson (Vice President, Food Safety & Quality at Dole) and Justin Kerr (Owner and Manager at Factor IV Solutions). Topics will include evolution of harvest equipment sanitation and hygienic design and real observations from the field and how sanitation programs can be built to include monitoring, verification and validation activities. Each webinar will consist of a one-hour presentation followed by 30 min of interactive Q&A. No cost for registration and attendance.

Course registration is closed. 

The Online PSA Grower Training course is the same curriculum as the in-person (or remote delivery) training.  Participants earn the same certificate.  The enrollment cost is $450.  (If you register before December 31, 2022, you can take the course for $125.)

This is a three-week course that can be completed at-your-own-pace. The online course is expected to take 15-30 hours total for successful completion.  Participants must read the text on their own, so this requires extensive reading. Each page in the course must be viewed by participants to meet expectations for the training. 

A new group begins each month.  Courses regularly fill up, so register early if you are interested in a specific month.
